Redesigning sentimental history

The Blue House, steeped in captivating history and formerly owned by Formula One legend Sterling Moss, assumed new significance as we embarked on its transformation. Passed down to our client's family, the residence held cherished memories, motivating us to embark on a journey that would reinvigorate its essence while harmonizing tradition and contemporary living.

Mixing mid-century nostalgia with modern flair

Guided by an intrinsic respect for the past, our design ethos delved into the retro charm of the mid-century era. Collaborating closely with our client, we embarked on a meticulous journey of integrating iconic furniture pieces from the 40s, 50s, and 60s, curating an ambiance of distinct color palettes and retro motifs in every room. This synthesis of eras forged a seamless dialogue between nostalgia and modernity, capturing the heart of the Blue House's legacy.

Balancing heritage and innovation

The Blue House transformation went beyond looks, finding a balance between preserving its history and making it functional today. We carefully picked iconic items, keeping their historical value while ensuring modern use. Tackling the challenge of the unique blue exterior, we merged tradition and freshness through smart planning.
